Types of Septic System Repairs

A malfunctioning septic system doesn’t always mean you need a total replacement; often, the issue lies within specific mechanical or structural components. At Laudolff Septic Services, we specialize in diagnosing and fixing the vital parts that keep your system moving. This includes pump repairs and replacements for pressurized systems, as well as float repair or replacement to ensure your alarms and cycles are functioning accurately. We also handle clearing blocked lines between the house and the tank, installing riser extensions to bring buried lids to the surface for easier access, and—when necessary—full tank replacements if an old unit has become structurally unsound.

Riser Extension Installation and Repair

The extension on the manhole must be either a maximum of 6″ below grade or a minimum of 4″ above grade, according to SPS 383. A riser below grade will require digging before servicing. Riser extensions, on the other hand, allow for easy access to the tank and electrical components. Laudolff Septic Services can also replace covers for the manholes.
