Pre-Treatment System

Pre-Treatment or Advanced Treatment, is an option which reduces the size of a septic system, as well as decreases the seperation distance to a limiting factor from 36" to 24". This allows for additional options on small, tight sites where it otherwise would receive a holding tank.

It works to the effect that aerobic bacteria is introduced to the effluent in treatment tanks via an air pump and media. This bacteria feeds on and breaks down the waste water reducing nitrogen and producing a high quality effluent. This high quality effluent, free of system clogging aerobic microbes, is sent to the drain field for final recycling.

County requires annual inspection of this component.
